tourism offices

Your lodging-tax report asks how many visitors came, and from how far.

Your welcome center already collects the answer in its guest book. Photograph the pages, add QR check-ins at events and attractions, and export the figures your report asks for.

what you get

Numbers you can hand to anyone who asks.

Visitor counts by month and site

Guest-book sign-ins, QR check-ins and kiosk sign-ins, each in its own column.

Where visitors came from

Out of state, out of the country, and how many traveled 50 miles or more.

Lodging-tax and hotel-tax exports

Washington lodging tax (JLARC) fields, Texas hotel occupancy tax post-event attendance with the attendee ZIP code list, heritage area partner attendance and monthly counts. Overnight stays come from the optional "Staying overnight?" question after a QR check-in.

On-site counts, not estimates

These are people who signed or checked in at your sites, not phone-location estimates. If you buy those, on-site counts are a way to check them.

Each city or county sets its own form, so check yours against the export.

see it live

A real map from real guest books.

Here's a live map from a visitor center in Omaha, Nebraska. It shows where its recorded visitors came from, by state and country, with counts only and never names. Your account gets a map like it, built the same way from your own pages and check-ins.

Start with one page from the welcome center guest book.
